General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School conducted a dry run on the implementation of the Learners Continuity Plan (LCP) last July 27-31, 2020.

GMATHS applied LCP using the learning modalities-Modular (Print/Non-print), Online(Synchronous/Asynchronous)and Homeschool for Grades 8 and 10 students in all learning areas.

The Department of Education Division of Cavite selected GMATHS to identify different startegic procedures and model the LCP implementation for the “new normal” in accordance to Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE -LCP) enclosed in DepEd Order No.12, s.2020.

In line with this, 80 Grades 8 and 10 teacher-participants from eight learning areas were chosen as demonstration teachers for different learning delivery modalities, 32 of them went house to house to distribute the learning package to students who chose modular print and homeschool learning delivery modalities.

The first joint meeting for the dry run of LCP Implementation  was held on July 8, 2020 at Leoniso G. Virata Conference Hall in GMATHS.

Meanwhile, the learning package is composed of the modules, supplementary activities, consent form, student profile, feedback form, handbook,  retrieval form and class schedule.

We conducted Strategic Planning with the Department Heads at gayundin ang ating Local Government Unit para sa ganun ay mapagplanuhang mabuti ang ating mga gagawin to go for the new normal” Dr. Victorio N. Medrano, Principal IV, said.

Also, The Local Government Unit (LGU) gave technical assistance through delivery and retrieval of modules. Kung kinakailangan pagdating ng araw o panahon ay may pagbabago, we will align the LCP as the need arises,” he added.

Furthermore, Hon.

DepEd Education Secretary Leonor Briones, in a recent online press conference, assured that opening of classes for SY 2020-2021 will push through as scheduled on August 24.

To date, 11, 263 students have already enrolled in GMATHS.
