PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES (SY: 2019-2020)

   1. Zumba para sa Brigada 2019

  • The Brigada Eskwela Coordinator and the organizers of GMATHS Brigada Eskwela 2018 conducted a Zumba session with the theme “Zumba para sa Brigada Eskwela,” where people from various sectors in the municipality of General Mariano Alvarez, teachers from elementary and secondary schools, members of GMATHS Alumni Association Incorporated and members of GMA Aero Dance Troupe were all gathered for a cause held at GMATHS Renato P. Dragon (RPD) Multi-Purpose Hall. The proceeds were allocated for the needs of the academe for the school year 2019-2020.

  2. Proper Waste Management Seminar

  • In line with the preparation for the opening of School Year 2019-2020, the school invited speakers and volunteers from Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) – GMA to conduct a seminar regarding proper waste management, held at Hon. Leoniso A. Virata Conference Hall. Teachers from different departments, GPTA and selected students gathered to participate for the said event.

 

  3. Fire Prevention Seminar

  • To equip teachers and students with knowledge, skills and proper attitude in case of man-made disasters like fire, the school has conducted a Fire drill and seminar regarding fire prevention led by Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – General Mariano Alvarez.

 

  4. Grade 7 Level Representative Election

  • The Supreme Student Government conducted the Grade 7 level Representative Election to fill the empty position held on         July 3, 2019.

 

  5. orGRANDay 2019

  • The Supreme Student Government conducted their 5th Season of orGRANDay held on the 30th day of July 2019 at GMATHS RPD Multi-Purpose Hall.

 

  6. Drug and Mental Health Awarenes

  • The GMATHS Supreme Student Government together with the Cavite Youth Organization spearheaded an event which discussed Drug and Health education among the selected students of GMATHS. It was held on August 20, 2019 at the Leoniso A. Virata Conference Hall.

 

  7. Clean Up Drive

  • The GMATHS Supreme Student Government together with the school’s student organizations conducted a school-wide clean-up drive by assigning different student organizations to their designated area to clean.

 

  8. Trashure 2019

  • The Supreme Student Government of GMATHS has been spearheading this annual activity to honor the campus’ beloved teachers during the yearly conducted World Teachers’ Day celebration. Hence, the fund to be used for the giveaways, pampering and gifts were sourced from the waste materials collected from all the students of GMATHS. This yearly activity was called the Trashure Project.

 

 9. Teachers’ Day Contest, Teacher’s Day Treat, and World Teachers’ Day Celebration

  • The Teachers’ Day Contest was held on the 31st day of September at Hon. Leoniso G. Virata Bldg. Conference Hall, spearheaded by the Supreme Student Government. In this activity, the SSG prepared several contests including Essay Writing Contest, Digital Art Poster Making/Poster Making Contest, Thank You Card Making Contest, Music Video Making Contest and Spoken Poetry Contest.

  • The second activity, the Teachers’ Day Treat, was held on the 2nd day of October. The SSG prepared the following services for free: manicure, pedicure, hair color, haircut, and many more. This activity aims to pamper the teachers after a year of tirelessly imparting knowledge to the students.

 

10. Usaping Pangkasaysayan: Bonifacio: Ang Katipunan at ang Himagsikang Pilipino

  • In line with the celebration of the 156th birth anniversary of Gat Andres Bonifacio, a talk was conducted by Mr. Rodel Amita wherein the myths and confusions about the Philippine history were straightened out and the contribution of Gat Andres Bonifacio to our country were emphasized. This event was made successful with the help of the Araling Panlipunan Department of GMATHS, and the Supreme Student Government.
