A total of 272 GMATHS personnel received their COVID-19 vaccines as of September 17, the school clinic recorded.
This number is composed of 48 non-teaching and 224 teaching employees. In particular, there are 22 from the English Department, 30 from the Filipino Department, 26 from the Science Department, 25 from the Mathematics Department, 28 from the MAPEH Department, 24 from the AP/ESP Department, and 68 from the TVE Department.
Mass teacher vaccination roll-out in General Mariano Alvarez (GMA), Cavite started early September but some personnel from other municipalities and those with comorbidity received their shots as early as June.
School Nurse I Ms. Lisa R. Olavere coordinated with the Municipal Health Unit and posted the schedule of vaccination on GMATHS Teachers and Employees Association (GMATHSTEA) Facebook Group. Individuals should proceed to the University of Perpetual Help – GMA Campus, the vaccination site, on their assigned schedule as no walk-ins are allowed.
Vaccination roll-out is still ongoing. Some are still waiting for their schedule for first dose and second dose.
