GMATHS holds demo teaching in the new normal

General Mariano Alvarez Technical High School (GMATHS) conducted its demonstration teaching in the new normal in response to the demands of the school’s Learning Continuity Plan (LCP).
The demands in the teaching and learning process has increasingly changed as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.

As stated in the Section 10.k of DepEd Order (DO) No. 11, s. 2020 (Revised Guidelines on Alternative Work Arrangements in the Department of Education During the Period of State of National Emergency due to COVID-19 Pandemic), improvement of different parameters to ensure quality teaching is provided.

Hence, teachers in each learning area are tasked to deliver a demonstration teaching showcasing the modular learning modality to their departments.
​
The first batch is scheduled for the second quarter from February to March and the second batch is for the third quarter from April to May.
​
In addition to this, demonstration teachings are rated by department heads through Classroom Observation Tools (COT) as one of the indicators in the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS).
